The Garriga House – Built in 1887, this fine colonial building belonged to a well-known Lloret family, who had to immigrate to Cuba, but whose fortunes improved in later years.
Roman Sepulchral – Discovered in 1891, this Romanic burial monument dates back to the second century AD, and was probably where the ashes of a landowner were kept.
Montbarbat Fortified Enclosure – There is evidence of Greek occupation in the fragments of Attic ceramics found at this ancient site, the furthest from the village.
Central location– Because of its location, Barcelona, Girona, Figueres and Montserrat are all situated within a hundred kilometer radius, and easily accessed.
Facilities – The excellent sports, shopping, leisure, and accommodation facilities available in Lloret have made it a top tourist destination in Spain. |
