| One of the first things you'll notice is that Romanians are very impatient, aggressive drivers. They tend to overtake pretty much anywhere, you'd be surprised, near misses seems to be a regular and quite normal occurrence and corners are also apparently a good place to floor it! Just be aware, don't let them force you into any crazy habits - if you're in their way they'll just go past. Quite fun really! |

| Be carefull when you are driving on those country and windy roads as there ar e lot of very slow moving horsecarts and livestock all over the place. Romanians drive very very close to the middle of the road because of uneven roads and debris. |

| What an experience, the people are friendly and the service is good BUT please be carefull with your belongings, there are many thieves and if you give them half a chance they would run off with your grandmother. Make sure your bag and wallet are in your front pockets and never, never put anything in your back pockets. |

| Romania is a great destination. The capital, Bucharest, is where most visitors head, but Romania offers much besides this beautiful city. With the beaches of the Black Sea coast and some unique towns, Romania is a great place to visit. |

Bucharest - The capital of Romania is its most popular destination by quite a distance. Situated between the Carpathian foothills and the Danube River is an incredibly beautiful city with the Palace of Parliament and the Old Court Church being the most impressive sights. Over recent years Bucharest has developed a thrilling nightlife with vibrant bars and clubs throughout the city.
The Black Sea Coast - This is where the beach resorts of Romania are found. Great beaches, good weather and exciting nightlife are a constant throughout the region. Also found in this area is Constanta, a large port city with some great museums.
Brasov - Set in the Translyvannian hills, Brasov is one of Romania's largest and most important cities. Brasov is well worth a visit with many things to see and do here.
Timisoara - The main draw of Timisoara are the sites of religious significance that are found here. Of particular interest are the two cathedrals, one which is Roman Catholic and the other Serbian Orthodox.
Sighisoara - Situated in Transylvania, Sighisoara is a beautiful medieval town. The city not only has a Dracula draw but also a superb clock tower and an excellent history museum.
