| The airport is situated, 8km (5 miles) northwest of Rotterdam city centre and 25km (16 miles) southeast of The Hague., and to reach it from the Hook of Holland follow the E25/A20 towards Utrecht, and at the Kleinpolderplein junction, take the A13 towards The Hague and from there follow signs for the airport. From The Hague, follow the A4 towards Rotterdam and at the Prins Claudsplein junction, take the A13 towards Rotterdam and from there follow signs for the airport. From Breda follow the A16 towards Rotterdam then take the northern ring road at Terbregsplein, at the Kleinpolderplein junction, take the A13 towards The Hague and follow signs. From Utrecht, take the A12 towards Rotterdam. |

24 hour ATM’s and a bank are located in the transit hall, and the conference and business facilities include a conference room for about 30 people, with an overhead projector. Internet service, telephone, fax and e-mail facilities are also available in the Departures lounge. Conference facilities are also provided by the Rotterdam Airport Hotel (tel: (0)10 462 5566) which is within walking distance of the airport. Refreshment is provided in a self service buffet in the Departures lounge, and a restaurant in the transit hall. The Rotterdam Airport Shop in the Departures Lounge offers a comprehensive range of goods from travel essentials to luxury gifts. Other facilities available include left luggage facilities in the Arrivals hall, and located in the Departures lounge is a baby lounge and Internet facilities. The Rotterdam Airport Lounge in Departures is available to holders of a valid ticket from individual airlines. The lounge is part of the Priority Pass Program and an access card can be purchased at the entrance. Complimentary drinks, snacks, magazines and newspapers are provided in the lounge.
To make the airport easily accessible to disabled passengers there are automatic doors, lowered kerbs, disabled toilets and lifts provided, and wheelchairs are available on request.
