| The second largest city of Jamaica lies between the Bogue, Kempshot and Salem hills. There are two diverse parts: the main tourist strip Gloucester Avenue otherwise known as the "Hip Strip”, and the city centre referred to as "downtown". Montego Bay's main attraction is the astounding bay with miles of coral reef and stunning beaches. There are three main public beaches along Gloucester Avenue, all with changing rooms, cafes and water sports facilities with inexpensive entrance fees. |

Ironshore - where the Caribbean Beach Park is enveloped in white sand, and a rolling grass area in the front is often used for stageshows. There are changing facilities and a restaurant and bar.
Gloucester Avenue - is where to most of Montego Bay's tourist hotels, restaurants and the best beaches, bars and clubs are.
Fort Street Craft Market - is the favourite hangout of the hair braiders. The stalls sell a range of carvings and t-shirts, and a bit of healthy bartering is always encouraged.
Aquasol Theme Park - offers watersports, glass-bottom boat rides, snorkelling, tennis, basketball courts, and a go-kart track. The wide expanse of sand, seafood restaurants, and an attractive decked bar whose hours are 24-7, have made the beach popular with young tourists.
Cornwall Beach - is one of the more private and relaxed beaches of Montego Bay. It's well-liked by the gigolo crowd, and female visitors can expect good-natured approaches. Set under a enormous sea grape tree, is a bar where one can enjoy refreshments.
