| Many of the roads in Jamaica are not well kept, but some have fantastic ocean views, and twists and turns that excite you or make your stomach churn. It was especially fun for me to get used to driving not only on the other side of the road, but on the other side of the car! Drive slowly and with caution on any remote or unkept roadway. A rather unique experience not to be missed. |

Kingston - Away from the visitor friendly sun, sea and sand resorts you can find the capital Jamaica. With some beautiful areas, great music scene and some fantastic museums such as the Bob Marley Museum.
Montego Bay - This bustling post city cum resort is located in the north west of the country. The main draws of the area are the incredible beaches, quality golf courses and vibrant nightlife. Montego Bay also has some cultural attractions which are worth seeing.
Negril - Situated in the west of the island on the coast, Negril is a fantastic resort. Laid back and relaxed, the resort offers beautiful weather and even more impressive beaches.
Dunn's River Falls - The best know tourist attraction in Jamaica is located just west of Ocho Rios. Although overcrowded it is still a magnificent place to see and experience with waterfalls, limestone and beach coming together. |
