Useful Tips
Other - by Craig from Cape Town
Driving in Hungary was a big time excercise in awareness and patience. Erratic local driving habits (and non-existent lane discipline) meant having to anticipate other drivers actions, especially Mercedes, BMW and Audi drivers! ALWAYS stick to the designated speed limits as over zealous traffic police target overseas motorists in a serious way. In the cities, the combination of trams, trolleybuses, and one way streets, coupled with the above, makes it even more challenging.
Safety - by E. Lorup from Switzerland
My VW Passat 1.8 has been stolen back in 2003 in the night before Easter Sunday. Use guarded parking locations if possible. Having an older car doesn't prevent from being stolen (my car was 1998 build but showed Swiss license plate == seems to mean rich!)

Budapest – Situated by the Danube River, Budapest is the capital city and heart of Hungary. Budapest is an incredibly beautiful city full of incredible buildings, interesting cultural attractions and wonderful parks.
