Watch it! Europe's worst accident rate in terms of the number of collisions per vehicle is in Greece! Red traffic lights are ignored without fail, and other driving habits are only slightly reasonable.
Safety - by Marie from Klapmuts
If on a road that is three lanes wide, then please be careful. The middle lane is used for passing in BOTH directions and if there is not enough room to pass on the road, slow drivers are expected to pull onto the shoulder in order to fast drivers pass.

Taxis and buses are cheap for local journeys, but seriously, I recommend to rent a car. It is by far the best way to get around this vast island! We hired a car to explore the island and did around 2500 kilometers in 14 days!! It was sooooo very worth it!
Traffic - by John from UK
Too much about, best stick to public transport
