| Prague Essentials |
Prague Castle - This is the largest ancient castle in the world, and one of the most spectacular in Europe. The castle has some fantastic sights throughout including marvellous art collections. One of the highlights of the castle is the wonderful 14th century St Vitius Cathedral.
Old Town Square - The Old Town Square has been at the very centre of life in Prague for the last thousand years, and even today it is one of the most appealing areas of the city to visit. The square has a great atmosphere with lots going on at all times of the day. The best way to enjoy the square though is to just sit back and relax in one of the many cafes and admire the sights all around you.
Old Town Hall - This superb structure dates back to the 14th century. The main attraction of the hall is the famous Astronomical Clock.
Loretanske Namesti - This wonderful square was created during the 1700's and is now one of cities most attractive areas. Probably the most striking of the attractions on the square is the 17th centrury baroque Loreta.
St Nicholas Church - This magnificent church is situated in the Mala Strana section of Prague. The church has some interesting things to see including the largest fresco in Europe. |
