| As with the life style here, driving is fast paced and non stop. Traffic is not a joke and driving is an adventure, but as there are not many other alternatives, best you put on you brave face and go with the flow. |

| With its massive freeway system and lack of a decent transit system, nothing is more fitting to the Los Angeles experience than driving, in fact, one cannot survive without an automobile. Common sense prevails in big cities, so never drive in the early morning or early evening; 'rush hour'. Have a map handy as there are always several options of freeways to travel in the 'Freeway Capitol' of the world if the one you're taking happens to be 'jammed up'. |

| The only bit of advice I think you need to know is: do not drive during rush hour(6:30am-9am and again at 3:30pm-7pm) Traffic comes to a stand still during these times, but if you must, having music is a life saver. Remember it will end eventually and then you can carry on with your life. So take a deep breathe, exhale, turn up the music and chill. |
