| Drving here depends on the individual, if you have a short fuse and no control over your temper maybe you should take a taxi, however if you can accept that traffic is part of your daily routine, have a good cd player in the car and patience....you will have no problem getting from point a to b.....safe and happy driving all... |

| People complain about driving in Vancouver, but after living in Montreal and Toronto, I can say that Vancouver is a breeze (especially compared to major U.S. cities!) The only problem is that the highway bypasses Vancouver, so to get downtown you are stuck on slow, busy residential and commercial streets. Tailgaiting has gotten worse in Van, but nothing like Montreal - and rush hour on Vancouver's three-lane highway is nothing like Toronto, where eight lanes of highway traffic slows to a crawl, then stops. |
